Was wondering if you guys could give me up building critique on my latest drawing?

I finally got my Tablet around christmas ^^
It's a A6 Graphire4. Not the best but didn't have that much money at the time.

Trying to get better at drawing with the tablet and was just wondering if anybody knew how to help or had some good advice.

Greetz, Havoc.

Tnx for you guyses inspiration that flows over into me ^.^

i started with a graphire2 before moving on to a intuo3.. and its because im using a widescreen laptop. Technically, to be honest, there isnt any difference in all the tablet, just choose a size you like. i like medium size ones. the small ones, like the one you have, sometimes require you to zoom in a fair bit to get a precise stroke while the bigger ones, while allowing you to have more precision may tire you out. So as long as you have a tablet, its pretty much the same =) tablets and software are tools, bend them to your will! its not what you use, but how you use.

i've been using the tablet for some time, and if you have any questions, feel free to note me =) I would be most glad to help.

Wow tnx.
Let's see well me hardest problems lie in actually drawing with the tablet, I know it's supposed to come with practice and over time but do you maybe know any good strokes or movements I should practice to get better with drawing with the tablet?

its gonna take you 2-3 weks to get used to using a tablet... in the mean time just doodle with it in photoshop or any other program. the thing about tablet is, its as good as a pencil, so practicing with pen/pencil will still help. If u're gonna paint, i recommend setting the flow of the brush to 30-70% and set the flow to vary with pen pressure. thats if you're painting over solid colids. low opacity is translucent, but low flow its kinda like marker running low on ink. experiment a lot.. and have fun.. tats the most important thing... there's no shortcut to things like this... my 1st few coloring took anything from 20-30 hours and now its down to probably 5-10 hours.
